Dr. Katie Connors, psychologist

Hello and welcome!

Please note that, due to schedule constraints, I am currently only accepting new clients for Family Based Treatment (FBT) for tweens & teens with anorexia. If you or a family member are between the ages of 12-18 and are experiencing a fear of gaining weight and/or obsessive thoughts around food or exercise, let's start the conversation about finding freedom and true health today. Email me at drkatieconnors@gmail.com or leave me a voicemail at 570-391-0900. For more on FBT, click here.

I love helping the teens and adults I work with to feel supported and, ultimately, to flourish. I specialize in women's issues, feminist-relational therapy, and helping teens and young adults challenge their thoughts and develop healthy coping skills. Many of my clients come to me to work on anxiety, depression, relationship problems, disordered eating, body image issues, sexual assault, social anxiety, and/or self-esteem issues.

Basics
therapy for anxiety, depression in adults

Are you or your loved ones noticing signs of anxiety, mood changes,  or that you don't "seem like yourself?" Are you working hard to navigate relationships, life stress, or big transitions?

support for parents

Is your teen dreading school or social situations? Are they feeling overwhelmed, on edge, hopeless or depressed? Is your teen dealing with a trauma, isolating from others, or in need of someone objective to talk to?

teen therapy

The most important relationship you will have is with yourself. Therapy can help you learn about your strengths and develop strategies for taking care of yourself when times are tough.
